As Director of Marketing at PowerHouse, Susan drives integrated marketing strategies that strengthen brand visibility and accelerate growth. With nearly 20 years of experience spanning real estate, construction, and engineering, Susan brings a keen understanding of how datacenters anchor digital transformation at the intersection of infrastructure and land development.

Susan began her career in the field as a construction project coordinator, gaining firsthand insight into the complexities of the built environment. Her transition into marketing was driven by a passion for strategic storytelling and a unique ability to translate technical strategy into compelling brand narratives.

Prior to joining PowerHouse, Susan was Senior Associate & Marketing Director at GHT, a DC-based nationally ranked technical engineering firm. There, she led a comprehensive brand repositioning, launched content marketing initiatives that doubled organic reach, and implemented data-driven performance marketing programs that significantly improved ROI. Her earlier leadership roles at HESS Construction and DAVIS Construction informed her strategic approach to marketing, which is grounded in technical acumen and driven by a clear focus on business outcomes.

A lifelong Marylander, Susan and her husband are parents to two energetic little ones, who keep them joyfully busy. She is a hands-on mom who embraces the joyful chaos of toddler creativity—even when it means more glitter than glue.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, with concentrations in Government & Politics and Environmental Science. She is an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), where she serves on the board and programs committee, respectively, and is a LEED-accredited professional.
